Three persons have been confirmed dead in an accident involving a BRT bus and a motorcycle in Alakija area of Lagos state.

It was gathered that the motorcycle was driving on the BRT lane when a BRT bus rammed into it, killing the bike rider and the two passengers on the spot.

The tragic incident occurred on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.

The two passengers, said to be footballers returning from a match, have been identified simply as Azuka and Waidi.

In the video obtained, the lifeless bodies of the deceased can be seen laying on the floor as a voice is heard warning people against allowing bikes to ply BRT lanes.
