Former Spokesman to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Ajuri Ngelale, his protegee Akanbi Ade Saheed and other notable grassroots mobilizers in the media space have made the recently constituted All Progressives Congress 22-man Media and Publicity Committee.
The names of these two personalities stood out owing to previous level of performance, aside other notable individuals, Ngelale really held the communication gamut of the two presidents so well while serving, likewise Akanbi Saheed fondly referred to as Afonja, immensely popularized the Asiwaju mantra across Lagos and beyond.
He has shown serious involvement and commitment in the Asiwaju’s project even as a personal aide to Barrister Seyi Tinubu, this comes as another testament to the fact that the party-APC recognizes hard work.
In a chat with Sunrise News Akanbi Saheed hinted that for him and many other individuals who made the list, it further affirms one thing, that the party is always ready to forge ahead, in all situations.
“APC grooms leadership and accountability and it speaks volumes at every point in time, with this new media marshals the new political dispensation is just gathering momentum.”
Others who made the broad-based list featuring a national spread includes Idris Jibril, Eno Beke Ikwen, Saminu Dazara, Ademu Seidu (Cartoon boy), Adedotun Omoleye, Seun Martins, Idirs Busari, Aliyu Zakari, Zeenat Idris, Hyacinth Turnoe, Adeyemo Samuel Ademola, Mr. Charles Ibefune,Hon. Collins Opurozor, Malam Lanre Issa-Onilu, Otunba Ajiboye,Jibrin Baba Ndace, Ali Muhammad Ali, Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos and Balarabe Shehu Ilelah.
