Police operatives in Bauchi State have arrested an ex-convict & two others for allegedly st£aling a motorcycle in the Gidan Ruwa area of the state.

The suspects: Yusuf Adamu, 30, Mohammed Sanusi, 20 & 20-year-old Masa’ud Ibrahim stole a motorcycle valued at N400,000 and sold it for N100,000.

The command’s spokesperson in a statement on March 22, said: “Following information received on the 15th March 2024 that a motorcycle (Boxer) valued at the sum of N400,000 was stolen near Gidan Ruwa area of Bauchi state

Consequently, on 22/03/2024, an intensive investigation led to the arrest of the following prime suspects; 1. Yusuf Adamu (Dan Sarki) ‘m’ aged 30yrs of Kofar Idi, 2.Mohammed Sanusi ‘m’ aged 20yrs of Kofar Gombe, 3. Masa’ud Ibrahim ‘m’ aged 20yrs of Jahun area of Bauchi

On interrogation, the suspects confessed that they used a fabricated metal object, popularly known as “Kati or Chori” to unlock the ignition of the motorcycle. They further stated that the stolen motorcycle was sold for the sum of N100,000
