French football club, Monaco, are expected to return with an improved offer for the United States star player and $63m-rated Arsenal striker, Folarin Balogun, after their first bid was rejected, Daily Mai reports Monday.
The 22-year-old has emerged as a top transfer target for Monaco following his successful loan spell with domestic rivals Reims last season.
Balogun who is born in New York City and grew up in London, registered 22 goals out of 39 appearances for Reims as the top scorer in all competitions in the 2022-23 season.

Monaco are now making moves to bring him back to France on a permanent basis before the summer transfer window closes at the end of the month.
In 2020 after Balogun made his debut in October, he made another nine appearances for the Premier League club and seven in cup competitions.
Aside from Monaco, Arsenal’s rival, Tottenham Hotspur are also in the race for his signature.In a shocking report that emerged in Italy over the weekend, Spurs also are weighing up a potential move for the Balogun amid their search for a new striker.
