Former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou, was denied a shock victory over WBC boxing champion, Tyson Fury in a non-title bout in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, October 28.
Tyson Fury was forced to get up off the canvas as he claimed an incredibly controversial split decision victory over former UFC champion Francis Ngannou.
Ngannou took Fury the distance and put his opponent on the canvas in round three after connecting with a left hook.

Fury, the WBC heavyweight champion of the world, was able to recover but ended the fight with a c¥t forehead, as well as a small mark underneath his left eye.
Fury was adjudged the winner, with a contentious split-decision. Despite being knocked down in the third round, the British boxer took the result 96-93 and 95-94 on two of the judges’ cards. The other judge had it 95-94 for Ngannou.
