Obi Cubana, Maduka, others to headline Transform Business Conference 2026

The Transform Business Conference (TBC) has announced its second annual edition, bringing together some of Nigeria’s most prominent business leaders and entrepreneurs for what promises to be a high-impact gathering of minds in Lagos.

The conference, themed “Leading Against the Odds: Innovation, Integrity, and Career Advancement in Nigeria’s Business Environment,” is scheduled for Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Festival Hotel, Conference and Spa, formerly known as Durbar Hotel, in Festac Town, Lagos.

Among the headline speakers confirmed for the event are Dr. Cosmas Maduka, OFR, Chairman and CEO of the Coscharis Group, and Dr. Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, Chairman and CEO of the Cubana Group. Renowned investment expert, author, and global real estate strategist Dr. Stephen Akintayo is also billed to speak, with additional speakers to be announced in subsequent communications.

TBC Project Director Ambassador Kingsley Enwelim Nwanze, who signed the official announcement, described the conference as a platform designed to inspire ethical leadership, entrepreneurial resilience, strategic innovation, and sustainable career advancement within Nigeria’s evolving business landscape.

“The theme for TBC 2026 reflects the realities of today’s economic and professional climate and aims to spotlight individuals whose journeys exemplify courage, enterprise, integrity, and transformational impact,” Nwanze stated.

The maiden edition of the conference, held in 2025, recorded significant success, attracting over 2,500 participants drawn from diverse sectors including business, entrepreneurship, policy, the professions, creative industries, and emerging leadership. Organizers say the overwhelming turnout and positive feedback affirmed TBC’s credibility as a national platform for business and leadership development.

The 2026 edition will also feature a special dedicated session for medical practitioners and lawyers, recognizing the growing intersection between professional practice and entrepreneurship in Nigeria’s evolving economy.

The conference is hosted by Mekatrice Group Limited in collaboration with Transformation Christian Centre, and convened by Dr. Kingsley Emeka Oboti, Group Managing Director and CEO of Mekatrice Group Limited and Senior Pastor of Transformation Christian Centre.

Nwanze expressed confidence that the second edition would surpass the success of the first, describing TBC 2026 as “a high-impact convergence of ideas, influence, and insight that will shape conversations around leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and career growth across Nigeria and beyond.”

Organizers have encouraged business executives, entrepreneurs, professionals, policymakers, and emerging leaders from across the country to register and take advantage of the networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities the conference offers.
