Lagos lawmaker Kehinde Joseph donates classrooms to constituents, announces third-term bid

The lawmaker representing Alimosho Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Kehinde Joseph, popularly known as KJ, on Saturday donated blocks of classrooms with laboratories, library and ICT rooms to Abaranje Secondary School in Ikotun, naming the facility after Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

Joseph the Chairman of the House Committee on Public Accounts (State), expressed gratitude to God and party leaders for their support over the years, noting that the project was inspired by advice from the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu as declares his intention to seek a third term in office.

“I thank God Almighty and everyone for being here today. When we started this project, our leaders stood by us and they are still with us. I appreciate all members of the All-Progressives Congress (APC).

“The distance from Ikotun to Abaranje and Okerube to access a secondary school is about nine kilometres. That informed our decision to construct these classrooms.

“Senator Oluremi Tinubu once advised us to carry everyone along in our constituency, take care of the community and build an iconic project, I took that advice seriously, and what you see today is a result of that guidance.

“This project does not belong to me; it belongs to the people and generations unborn. I pray it produces doctors, lawyers, engineers, governors, and even presidents. I am willing to continue to represent you in the Lagos State House of Assembly,” he said.
