Preliminary investigations at the scene also led to the recovery of exhibits now undergoing forensic analysis.
The Commissioner of Police in Osun State, Ibrahim Gotan, has ordered a high level investigation and directed relevant units to deploy all available resources to identify, apprehend, and prosecute those behind the attack. The police assured residents that no effort would be spared in uncovering the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
