Will Smith is being sued by violinist Brian King Joseph, who alleges the actor groomed him for s+xual exploitation.
Joseph first worked with Smith in December 2024 and joined his “Based on a True Story: 2025 Tour,” claiming their relationship grew closer after he was invited to play on Smith’s upcoming album.
Joseph says his hotel room in Las Vegas, booked by Smith’s team, was unlawfully entered, with items including a note addressed to him, personal belongings, and medication for someone else.
He reported the incident but was allegedly blamed and terminated, while another violinist replaced him, suggesting the firing was pretextual.
The lawsuit states Smith’s actions caused Joseph severe emotional distress, PTSD, reputational harm, and financial loss, portraying a pattern of predatory behavior. Smith’s representatives have not commented.
This case follows a separate $3 million lawsuit against Jada Pinkett Smith by a former associate who claimed she threatened him and pushed him to sign a nondisclosure agreement during a 2021 birthday gathering.
