The Police Command in Kano State has arrested a 24-year-old housewife, Hafsat Surajo for allegedly stabbing her domestic staff, Nafi’u Hafiz to death

This was made known on December 22, 2023 by the Commissioner of Police CP Hussaini Gumel

Gumel, who addressed newsmen, stated that a report was received on December 21 from one Hafizu Salisu that he got a phone call from Daiyanu Abdullahi of Unguwa Uku, Kano that his brother, Nafi’u Hafiz is dead.

He added that when the brother arrived at the residence at Unguwa Uku, he found several inj¥ries, suspected to be knif£ stabs on different parts of the deceased’s body.

According to Gumel the suspect confessed to singlehandedly stabbing the deceased on several parts of his body.

“Her husband, one Dayyabu Abdullahi of the same address and their gateman, Malam Adamu were arrested for aiding, packaging & concealing the dead body to give cover up for the culpable homicide,” the CP stated.
