The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, (NCPC)has announced Turkey as one of its latest pilgrimage destinations in the coming year 2024.
The Executive Secretary of the Commission said this at the Third Annual General Staff Retreat of the Commission with Partners from Turkey, held in Jos.

According to Prime Business Africa, the NCPC had in October announced the suspension of all pilgrimages, to Israel & Jordan as a result of the ongoing war between Israelis & Hamas. Prior to that announcement, the NCPC was scheduled to fly intending pilgrims to Amman, Jordan, to stay there for 4 days before traveling to Israel but the trip was canceled due to the conflict that arose.
“A team from the Commission visited Turkey this year & last year to exploit a Christian holy site in the Middle-East country. Expectedly, the Concluded to include Turkey as one of the latest additions to our pilgrimage destinations,” Rev. Pam said.
