The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) will on Wednesday mark the third anniversary of its founder Prophet TB Joshua’s death with praise and worship night.
Joshua died on June 5, 2021 after a meeting with Emmanuel TV partners. He was aged 57. The clergyman was buried on July 9, 2021, at the church’s premises in Ikotun, Lagos.
Announcing the praise and worship night on social media on Tuesday, the church said live broadcast on Emmanuel TV would begin at 8:00 p.m. (West Africa time).
“On Wednesday, 5th June 2024, The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations will be agog for God!
“Join us for a night of praise and worship in memory of God’s servant Prophet TB Joshua, who left this earthly plane on June 5, 2021.
“Get ready to celebrate the power of Jesus Christ as manifested in the ministry of His servant, Prophet TB Joshua!” The church said.
Last year, Pastor Evelyn Joshua, leader of the church, led a candlelight procession at the church’s prayer mountain for Joshua’s second memorial anniversary.
Lovers of the late clergyman from around the world, including his disciples, gathered at the prayer mountain also founded by Joshua as a solitary place for prayer to celebrate his legacy.
Delivering a welcome address, one of the leading evangelists, James described Joshua as a practical example of the life of Christ.
“Prophet TB Joshua gave all in service of God and humanity. He lived a life of sacrifice, teaching us what the beauty of life is,” he said.
After his speech, Evelyn led the candlelight procession to Joshua’s grave followed by evangelists James, Chisom and Joseph. They all dropped their candles at his grave.
