32-yr-old missing ATBU students found dead, suspects arrested

One of the two persons allegedly murdered by a group of suspected cultists in Bauchi State have been identified.

Rehoboth Joseph Deshi, 32, was declared missing when he didn’t return home after paying a friend a visit on Saturday, February 17, 2024.

The graduate of Federal University Kashare, Gombe State, was later found dead in a bush in the outskirts of Kuhu village via Furum ward in Bauchi LGA in the early hours of Sunday, February 18.

Spokesperson of the Bauchi State Police Command, SP Ahmaed Mohammed Wakil, identified Reboboth Joseph Deshi as one of the two persons killed by Hoomvez Martins Nyelong, Daniel Audu Adamu and Maigari Inuwa.

Recall that the three suspects were arrested on February 18 after two corpses were discovered in the area.
