The Yoruba film industry has been thrown into mourning following the death of popular actor and comedian Adeshina Okiki Oshin, widely known as Janmole, who reportedly died after sustaining injuries in a road accident.

News of the actor’s passing emerged on Monday and was later confirmed by the President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin. In a condolence message, the veteran actor described Janmole’s death as a painful loss to the Nigerian entertainment industry.

According to reports, Janmole was involved in a road crash while travelling in Oyo State.
