The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has claimed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu could face challenges from the United States government, urging the Nigerian leader to remain vigilant.
Speaking during a recent sermon, Ayodele said he foresaw the US government frustrating Tinubu’s administration, alleging that American authorities possess documents they may use in dealings involving the Nigerian president.
“Tinubu will be frustrated by the United States of America government. I foresee there are lots of documents they want to…” the cleric said, without providing further details or evidence to support the claim.
Ayodele also urged the President to be prayerful and cautious, describing his remarks as prophetic warnings rather than political commentary.
The cleric, who is known for making public predictions on political, economic and international affairs, did not identify the nature of the alleged documents or explain how they could affect the Tinubu administration.
As of the time of filing this report, neither the Presidency nor the United States government had responded to Ayodele’s remarks. There is also no publicly available evidence to substantiate the claim that the US government is preparing actions against President Tinubu based on undisclosed documents.
President Tinubu has previously been the subject of public discussion over historical court records in the United States relating to a civil forfeiture case from the 1990s. However, no new official action or announcement by US authorities has been made in connection with those records.
Ayodele’s comments have since generated reactions on social media, with supporters describing them as prophetic insights, while others viewed them as speculative. His latest remarks add to a series of public predictions he has made on national and international issues over the years.
The claims remain unverified and should be regarded as the personal prediction of the cleric rather than established fact.
