Aiyedatiwa reaffirms commitment to Tinubu’s 2027 re-election, renewed hope agenda

Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, declaring that the state remains fully aligned with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The governor’s position was made known on Monday during a political mobilisation event in Akure, where he reiterated the Ondo State Government’s support for President Tinubu’s second-term bid and called for increased grassroots mobilisation across the state. The development was also confirmed in reports by multiple media outlets.

According to Aiyedatiwa, the Renewed Hope Agenda represents a governance framework aimed at addressing Nigeria’s economic and developmental challenges through ongoing reforms. He urged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and supporters of the administration to intensify efforts to sensitise residents on the policies and achievements of the Tinubu administration.

The governor stressed that Ondo State would continue to partner with the Federal Government to advance development initiatives and ensure the successful implementation of programmes designed to improve infrastructure, agriculture, investment, and economic growth.

Aiyedatiwa also described the Renewed Hope Ambassadors initiative as a structured grassroots mobilisation platform intended to strengthen political engagement across the state’s 18 local government areas ahead of the 2027 general election. He said the organisation would serve as a channel for communicating government policies and mobilising support for the APC.

The event featured the inauguration of state and local government coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors. Party leaders and supporters from across Ondo State attended the gathering.

Representatives of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors described the initiative as a nationwide political mobilisation project aimed at consolidating support for President Tinubu’s administration and expanding the APC’s grassroots presence before the next general election.

President Tinubu, who has received the endorsement of the APC for a second-term bid, is expected to seek re-election in the 2027 presidential election.
