Socialite and businesswoman, Fareeda Abdulkabir.. aka House of Phareedah, was prevented from committing suicide on Thursday, August 17, by eyewitnesses at Third Mainland bridge in Lagos.

It is reported that she drove to a section of the bridge and was about to end it all when she was accosted and prevented from committing the act. Phareedah’s recent action is reportedly connected to news that her husband, Ademola Okunlaja, had packed out of their matrimonial home to meet with a side chic he was dating before their marriage.

It would be recalled that Phareedah and Demola’s wedding was the talk of the town two months ago. It is alleged that over N100m was expended on the ceremony.
