The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has appointed an expert in advertising, Prince Fatiu Akiolu, as the new General Manager, Lagos State Signage & Advertisement Agency (LASAA).
His appointment was contained in a circular issued by the Head Of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, dated September 15 and made available to journalists on Monday, September 18.
“Akiolu’s appointment takes effect from Monday, September 18 and he is expected to resume office and drive the agency towards contributing its quota to Lagos Gross Domestic Product.

The governor’s decision to appoint Akiolu is part of efforts to restructure LASAA for improved performance and development within the state,” the circular reads in part.
Akiolu, who is the son of the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, takes over from Adedamola Docemo, who had overseen the agency since 2019 but was removed three months after the governor’s re-election.
