JusticeForMohbad: Promoters have agreed to cancel Naira Marley — Samklef

Nigerian music executive, Samklef, has taken to social media to announce that promoters have agreed to cancel Naira Marley, following the death of singer Mohbad.

In a series of tweets, Samklef said that he has been in touch with promoters across the world and they have all agreed to cancel Naira Marley’s upcoming shows. He also said that petitions will be written to all embassies to that effect.

Samklef’s announcement comes amid growing calls for justice for Mohbad. Mohbad was confirmed dead on September 12, 2023, after rushing him to the hospital.

The allegations against Naira Marley and his associates have sparked outrage among fans and colleagues of Mohbad. Many have called for Naira Marley to be canceled and for his shows to be boycotted.

Naira Marley has not yet responded to Samklef’s announcement or to the allegations against him. However, he has previously denied any involvement in Mohbad’s death.
