Mohbad: More trouble for Naira Marley as MTV base bans music

This period is certainly not the best of times for Nigerian music star, Afeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley as British music channel MTV Base has now placed a ban on his music following the controversial death of his former signee, Mohbad.

Recall that Naira Marley was accused of having a hand in Mohbad’s shocking death.

The deceased was part of the Marlian Music, a record label owned by Naira Marley.

However, a staff of MTV music channel and popular TV host, Ehizojie Okoeguale a.k.a DadaBoy Ehiz, disclosed the development by the popular British music channel.

He took to his Twitter page, now “X” on Wednesday, September 20th, 2023 to make the announcement.

Okoeguale wrote: “MTVbase dropped everything about Marlian. Kudos to dem.”

Besides, some national radio stations have placed a “Not to Be Broadcast” (NTTB) ban on all the music under Naira Marley’s Record Label.
