Striking members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) on Tuesday afternoon, November 14, shut down the National Assembly Complex in Abuja.
The union, alongside members of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), embarked on a nationwide strike over the ill-treatment of the NLC President, Joe Ajaero during the workers’ protest in Imo State.
The workers locked all the gates into the complex, leaving many stranded.
