Jamaican-American singer Sean Kingston and his 61-year-old mother, Janice Turner, have been arrested following a raid at his rented Florida mansion on Thursday, May 23.

Sean Kingston and his mother worked together to systematically defraud businesses and are now each facing multiple counts of grand theft and fraud, according to Broward Sheriff’s Office warrants released Friday, May 24.

While Turner was arrested during the raid in Florida, her son was taken into custody in Fort Irwin, southern California, on fraud and th£ft charges on a Florida warrant.

During the raid, authorities reportedly filled U-Haul trucks with items and towing away at least one of the cars parked in the driveway.

Between October of 2023 and March of this year, Kingston, his mother “and others known and unknown” illegally obtained items from businesses including Mazal Jewelry Inc., according to the warrants.
