It’s just ₦400 to me’: King Ochacho speaks on ₦400m mansion gift to Peller

Nigerian real estate businessman King Ochacho has sparked reactions online after describing the ₦400 million mansion he gifted popular TikTok creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, as “small money.”

Ochacho made the remark while presenting the luxury property to Peller and his fiancée, fellow content creator Jarvis, during a ceremony in Abuja. He said the mansion, located in the Life Camp area of the Federal Capital Territory, was a wedding gift to the couple. Reports and videos shared online indicate that the property is valued at approximately ₦400 million.

Speaking during the presentation, the real estate mogul said the value of the gift was insignificant to him, likening ₦400 million to “₦400” based on his financial standing.

“₦400 million is like ₦400 to me,” Ochacho said, explaining that he wanted to celebrate and encourage the couple as they prepare for marriage.

Videos from the event showed an emotional Peller expressing gratitude to Ochacho and his family for the unexpected gift. The TikTok star thanked the businessman for what he described as a life-changing gesture.

The presentation has since generated widespread discussion across social media, with many users congratulating Peller and Jarvis, while others debated Ochacho’s description of the property’s value as “small money.”

Peller is one of Nigeria’s fastest-rising social media personalities, known for his livestreams and comedy content on TikTok. He and Jarvis have attracted significant public attention in recent months following their engagement and frequent collaborative content.

The mansion gift adds to a growing trend of high-profile gifts exchanged among Nigerian celebrities, influencers and business figures, often drawing admiration as well as debate over displays of wealth.
