… ORGANISES CBT LESSONS IN SURULERE
The Kassim Alli-Balogun Foundation has charged beneficiaries of its free UTME forms to perform excellently in the forthcoming mandatory computer-based entrance examination organised by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The Foundation’s representative, Ms. Omolola Alli-Balogun, gave the charge during a visit to the beneficiaries of the free UTME forms earlier distributed to over 180 indigent students, who also participated in the free Computer-Based Test (CBT) lessons sponsored by the KAB Foundation.
She assured the students of further educational sponsorship if they performed well in the examination. According to her, the Foundation would sponsor candidates who gain admission into higher institutions of their choice with very high marks.
“My brother, Kassim Alli-Balogun, who is the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, has asked me to tell you to strive to obtain outstanding performance that can secure your admission into institutions of your choice. Once you are admitted, rest assured that he will be ready to sponsor your education,” she said.
The CBT training commenced on March 30 and concluded today at Gbaja Boys Senior High School, Surulere, Lagos.
The Head of Solution Education Consult Ltd, Mr. Monday Kayode Adodo, who is also the Coordinator of the Free UTME Forms and CBT Training Programmes, expressed appreciation to the Foundation, noting that the impact of the programmes is already evident among the students. He further stated that the students have improved tremendously in their computer skills.
He added: “The preparation journey for the CBT examination has been made easier by the Foundation. The KAB Foundation has enabled us to achieve a lot in training and guiding the students. They have been provided with free UTME forms and exposed to specialised lessons and techniques on how to effectively tackle examination questions. They have also undergone revision sessions at CBT centres in Surulere. We appreciate the Foundation for this kind gesture.”
Some beneficiaries of the programme, including Murtala Olaitan Ogunjobi, Samiat Mustapha, and Tibere Favour Wilson, expressed their joy and appreciation to the KAB Foundation. They stated that the free UTME forms and CBT training were highly beneficial and a great relief to their parents.
They also noted significant improvement in their computer skills and expressed confidence in performing well in the examination.
