Cynthia Morgan shares experience with Jude Okoye amid renewed Okoye family feud

Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan has publicly accused her former record label boss, Jude Okoye, of manipulating public narratives and described him as “wicked,” while recounting her personal experience during their professional relationship.Morgan made the allegations in a social media post amid the renewed public dispute involving Jude Okoye and his younger brother, Peter Okoye, formerly of the defunct music duo P-Square.

According to the singer, her experience with Jude during her time under Northside Entertainment left her with a negative impression of his character. She alleged that he often sought to shape public perception to his advantage and claimed that his actions contributed to the challenges she faced in her music career. Morgan also described him as “wicked,” though Jude has not publicly responded to the latest accusations.

The singer further alleged that Jude made disparaging remarks about his brother, Peter Okoye, despite their family ties. Her comments come as the long-running rift between the Okoye brothers continues to attract public attention, with both sides exchanging allegations in recent months.Morgan’s latest remarks add another chapter to a dispute that dates back several years. In 2020, she publicly alleged that her career suffered after disagreements with Northside Entertainment, the label managed by Jude Okoye.

The controversy resurfaced in 2025 when she revisited her experiences while responding to comments made during the ongoing feud between the Okoye brothers.The public fallout between Jude and Peter Okoye has extended beyond family disagreements, drawing in former associates and collaborators.

Jude is also facing separate legal proceedings over allegations involving music royalties, charges he has denied, while the family dispute continues to play out in the public domain. Neither Jude Okoye nor Peter Okoye had issued any fresh public response specifically addressing Morgan’s latest allegations as of the time of this report.
