Super Falcons captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, has travelled to Budapest, Hungary, to support Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) ahead of the UEFA Champions League final.
Ajibade, who joined Paris Saint-Germain on a contract running until 2027, is a key member of the club’s women’s team and has featured for the French giants in domestic and European competitions since her arrival in 2025.
The Nigerian forward is in Budapest as PSG’s men’s team prepares for the highly anticipated Champions League final at the Puskás Aréna. The match has attracted global attention, with thousands of supporters travelling to the Hungarian capital for European club football’s biggest fixture.
Ajibade’s presence in Budapest highlights her support for the wider PSG family, with the 26 year old continuing to establish herself as one of Nigeria’s most prominent football exports. The Super Falcons skipper joined PSG following a successful spell with Atlético Madrid and has since become an important figure for both club and country.
Widely regarded as one of Africa’s leading female footballers, Ajibade captains Nigeria’s national women’s team and was instrumental in the country’s recent successes on the continental stage. Her appearance at the Champions League final further underscores the growing influence of Nigerian players at some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
